The Education and Knowledge Orphanage School is an asset to the community in Mtsliza Village. Malawi is currently the second fastest developing nation in the world and education is crucial to protect the future of the nation's youth.

E&K School offers free education to orphaned and less privileged students. Other students pay a small fee to help with school supplies. The fees are still much less than the over crowded government school across the street where the student teacher ratio is about 100:1. All teachers are currently volunteers and act as strong positive role models. E&K is a safe place where many children choose to spend their time even after classes and on the weekend. Former students teach traditional dance after class and often perform for the community.
